‘Open Mosque Day’ Provides Neighbors with Opportunity to Learn About the Islamic Faith
GARDEN GROVE, Calif. – October 6, 2012 – The Islamic Society of Orange County (ISOC) will be one of eighteen mosques across Southern California hosting the annual ‘Open Mosque Day’ event on Sunday, October 7, 2012. ISOC, the largest mosque in Southern California, will be hosting neighbors, faith-based organizations, community leaders, and media representatives with an opportunity to learn about ISOC, the Islamic faith, and Muslims in the United States. The event will feature a tour of the ISOC campus, an Islamic exhibit gallery, and delicious food.
